The Inkweaver Language Server is a free extension for Visual Studio Code. It adds syntax highlighting and error reporting to your Fountain screenplays, so you can catch mistakes as you write.

We’re still working on this guide. The extension ships in stages ahead of Inkweaver Studio, and this page will walk you through setting it up.

In the meantime, you can write your screenplay in any editor that supports Fountain or Final Draft. See choosing a screenplay editor for some options.
